PEGASUS GALLERY OF CANADIAN ART presents

January First Thursday: Looking Forward

The Pegasus Gallery of Canadian Art continues its First Thursday gallery talks in 2012 with a look back on recent topics and a look forward to the new year. This month, the gallery will be hosting a more informal gathering, and guests will have an opportunity to ask questions about previous talks and to propose ideas for topics in 2012.

Gallery manager Anthony Matthews says, “We decided to use the January talk as a way to thank all the guests who have attended the various discussions, and to get feedback on what topics are of interest to them, so we can tailor the programme for 2012.”

As part of the 2011 review, Pegasus Gallery owner Ian Sigvadason will give an update on the Sampson-Matthews silkscreen project. More information and some anecdotes have come to light about the project and the gallery continues to be very proud of its efforts to bring this important body of work back into the hearts and minds of Canadians.

Everyone is welcome to join us at the First Thursday Talk in the Gallery on 5 January 2012 from 6pm to 8pm.

An mixed exhibition of work is on display in the gallery for the month of January.
